What to do if there is no sound via HDMI or the optical cable?

Important: In your TV's audio settings, the digital output format must be set to "PCM". HORST cannot process multi-channel signals such as Dolby Digital or DTS.

Can I use HORST with hearing aids?

Yes. HORST is an ideal complement for hearing aid users. Because you position the speaker directly next to you, the signal is transmitted more clearly and without room reverberation, which significantly improves the hearing aid's function.

Does the volume control work independently of the TV?

Absolutely. You control the volume directly on the large rotary dial of the HORST speaker. This allows you to turn down or completely mute the TV speakers while listening at your desired volume via HORST.

What does the "L/R Channel Swap" function mean?

If you place the speaker not in front of you, but behind you, for example on the edge of the sofa, the left-hand sound would come from the right. This button electronically swaps the channels so that the sound matches the TV action again.

Can I pair Bluetooth headphones with HORST?

No. The Bluetooth function is used to stream music from your mobile phone to the HORST speaker. If you want to use headphones, you can connect them directly to the 3.5 mm jack on the speaker using a cable.
