The Soundmaster EliteLine PL711SW is more than a classic turntable: besides high-quality analog technology with Audio-Technica magnetic cartridge system, it offers an integrated USB recording function for PC/computer. This allows you to digitize your records directly and save them as MP3 or other audio formats.

Special feature: digitize records via USB

The integrated USB port allows the PL711SW to be connected directly to a computer. The turntable is automatically recognized as a “USB Audio CODEC” and can convert audio signals from the record into digital data.

How PC recording works

• Connect the turntable to the computer via USB cable
• Turn on the device – the PC automatically recognizes it as “USB Audio CODEC”
• Start recording software (e.g., free software Audacity)
• Start recording, save tracks, and export as MP3, for example

This lets you permanently back up your vinyl collection or conveniently use it on mobile devices.

Flexible connection options

The integrated PHONO/LINE-OUT switch allows connection to classic amplifiers (PHONO) or directly to active speakers or line inputs (LINE). Additionally, a Bluetooth® reception function is integrated to play music from your smartphone.
