In residential areas with many routers, the classic 2.4 GHz band is often congested, which can lead to dropouts in internet radio. The IR7000TI also supports the more stable 5 GHz band, which guarantees a significantly less disruptive connection and faster loading times for stations.[1, 3]

Does the radio have an audiobook resume function?

Yes. When playing MP3 files via the USB port, the device remembers the last playback position. After switching it off and on again, playback resumes exactly from that point – ideal for long audiobooks or podcasts.

Can I pair Bluetooth headphones with the IR7000TI?

No. The Bluetooth function is a receiver (sink). You can wirelessly play music from your smartphone through the radio. However, a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack is available on the back.

How do I control the radio via app?

Download the free OKTIV app (successor to the UNDOK app for newer Frontier modules) to your smartphone. Once your phone and radio are on the same Wi-Fi network, you can select stations, adjust the volume, and manage favorites without having to touch the device directly.
